World Book Encyclopedia

Where I can find the name of the person who wrote the World Book Encyclopedia in 1984?
thanks
There was not a single person who wrote the encyclopedia. In contrast, many people have worked on this. If you're lucky, then the articles themselves, be signed either the start or (more probably) at the end, probably with the initials. You can then look in the first volume, or index, the acronym refers. (So if you're in looking for "Indonesia" in this encyclopedia, and at the end of the article that says something like "JJT" are probably the initials of the author of the article.) In general, quoted an encyclopedia with the name of the editor, or only by the editor (in this case, "World Book").
